Stop hunting for files

In most businesses, files end up everywhere: personal OneDrives, email attachments, USB drives, and an old file server in the closet. SharePoint and OneDrive come with most Microsoft 365 business plans, but without a plan they turn into one more place to lose things. We design a file structure around how your team actually works, by department, project, or client, with permissions that let the right people see the right files.

Whether you’re replacing an aging file server or cleaning up a SharePoint setup that grew on its own, our local team handles it for businesses across Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and the surrounding region. See all the areas we serve.

How we get your files organized

1

Map how you work

We learn how your teams share and find files, and what needs to stay private.

2

Build and move

We set up SharePoint and OneDrive, move your files into the new structure, and set permissions.

3

Train and support

We show your team where things live and how to share safely, then support it going forward.

SharePoint and OneDrive questions we hear often

What’s the difference between SharePoint and OneDrive?

OneDrive is for each person’s own work files. SharePoint is for shared company files that teams work on together. Used together, personal work stays personal and shared work stays organized.

Can SharePoint replace our file server?

For most small businesses, yes. SharePoint gives your team secure access to shared files from the office or anywhere else, without a server to maintain or a VPN to connect through.

Can we share files with clients securely?

Yes. We set up sharing controls so you can send files to clients and partners while keeping limits on who can open them and for how long.

What happens to an employee’s files when they leave?

Microsoft only keeps a departed user’s OneDrive for a limited time before deleting it. We move important files to the right place before the account is removed, so nothing is lost.

Are SharePoint and OneDrive backed up?

Not the way most people think. Microsoft keeps the service running, but deleted or encrypted files can be lost. We recommend a separate backup. About backup & recovery.
